Terms of use
Last updated 7 September 2026
Two things to be clear about
- dIELTS is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to the organisations that run the IELTS test.
- Every band you see here is an estimate to guide your practice. It is not an IELTS score and it cannot become one.
Who we are
dIELTS is run by Ivy Path Education at ept.ivypath.io, from 5687 Yew St #301, Vancouver, BC V6M 3Y2, Canada. Using the site means you accept these terms and our Privacy page.
What dIELTS is
dIELTS is IELTS practice and coaching for all four skills. You practise, we tell you where your band is leaking and what to fix, and you drill that. All practice material — passages, listening scripts, questions, model answers — is written by us. None of it is official IELTS material and none of it is a past paper.
About the bands we show you
Speaking and Writing are judged by trained human examiners in the real test. No software scores them officially, and ours does not either: what we give you is an AI estimate of where you stand, useful for finding your weak point and for seeing whether it improves. Reading and Listening are marked against our own answer key, so the raw count is exact — the band we convert it to is still an estimate.
We do not promise any band, and we cannot predict your result. Nothing here is a guarantee about an exam, a visa, an admission or a job.
There is no account yet
You can use dIELTS without signing in. That has a consequence worth knowing: your work lives in your browser on that one device. If you clear your browser data, use a private window, or switch devices, it is gone and we cannot recover it — we never had a copy. Use the printable sheets to keep anything you care about.
How you may use it
- Practise as much as you like, for your own study.
- Print or save your own sheets and reports for yourself.
- Please do not resell, republish or hand out our material as your own, or use it to build a competing product.
- Please do not scrape the site, hammer the scoring endpoints, or try to get around limits.
- Only record your own voice. Do not upload a recording of someone else without their permission.
Our material
The passages, questions, scripts, model answers and the site itself belong to Ivy Path Education. You get a personal licence to use them for your own preparation, and nothing more.
Price
dIELTS is free to use while we are in pilot. If we start charging for part of it, we will show the price and the terms before you pay anything — and nothing you have already done will be taken away from you without notice.
Service, as it is
We work hard on this, but dIELTS is provided as it is. Scoring depends on services we do not control, so it can be slow or fail; features change; material gets rewritten. To the extent the law allows, Ivy Path Education is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of dIELTS, including an exam result.
Which law applies
These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the applicable laws of Canada, and the courts of British Columbia have jurisdiction. If something goes wrong, please write to us first — most things are faster to fix that way than through a court.
Changes and contact
We date this page whenever it changes. Questions about these terms go to ept@ivypath.io, or use the Contact page.
